The Pirates recalled right-handed pitcher Brandon Cumpton to start tonight's game against the Philadelphia Phillies and optioned infielder Josh Harrison to Class AAA Indianapolis.

Jeff Locke, who was scheduled to start tonight, warmed up in the bullpen during the Pirates' 14-inning victory against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, making him unavailable to start tonight.

Cumpton, 24, has already made two spot starts for the Pirates this season, going 0-0 with a 3.60 ERA. The Pirates went 1-1 in those starts.

Harrison was hitting .154 in 12 games with the Pirates this season.
