DENVER -- The Pirates activated outfielder Alex Presley from the seven-day disabled list and optioned infielder Matt Hague to Indianapolis, the team announced today.
Presley sustained a mild concussion when he attempted to make a diving catch July 3 against the Houston Astros. He was placed on the seven-day disabled list, created specifically for concussions, July 5, retroactive to July 3.
Presley went 4 for 8 with two runs in two games of a rehab assignment with Indianapolis.
Hague was 0 for 2 in two games during his most recent assignment with the Pirates.
