Edinboro University, another state-owned school in Western Pennsylvania, today is reporting a record enrollment this fall of 8,653 students, up by about 4 percent from last year.
It is the second consecutive yearly enrollment record set at Edinboro, campus spokesman Jeff Pinski said.
Earlier this week, three other campuses belonging to the State System of Higher Education -- California, Indiana and Slippery Rock universities - each reported enrollment records.
