West Virginia LB Lazear out for Marshall game; TE Urban doubtful
Wednesday, September 08, 2010

West Virginia starting senior linebacker Pat Lazear, still nursing a leg injury he sustained during camp, has been ruled out of Friday's Marshall game by Mountaineers coach Bill Stewart.

Lazear missed the season opener against Coastal Carolina last week as he is still dealing with the impact of being accidentally leg-whipped by a teammate near the end of preseason camp.

Also on the injury front, starting junior tight end Tyler Urban, a Norwin High School product, is listed as doubtful for the Marshall game as he deals with a knee injury sustained in Saturday's victory.

Reserve linebacker Branko Busick, a redshirt freshman, is doubtful with a hand injury and freshman offensive lineman Cole Bowers, who could start at right guard, is probable with a knee injury.
