KEY GAME
Oct. 30: at Robert Morris ... Any time the Dukes and the Colonials play it's a big game. The fact the contest is the ninth game of the season and either team could be in the race for the NEC title could make it even bigger.
WR Dave Williams, RB Larry McCoy, TE Sean Bunevich, WR Connor Dixon, LB Nathan Totino, DE Thaimu Bangura.
The Dukes were ravaged by injuries last season with 13 starters missing at least one game because of an injury. If they can avoid injuries a winning season is possible. Schmitt has 17 starters returning, including senior linebacker Nathan Totino, who has led the team in tackles the past three seasons. Tight end Sean Bunevich is back after missing all of last year with a knee injury. He caught 25 passes for 454 yards in 2008. Sophomore Sean Patterson is the No. 1 quarterback after starting two games in 2009. How quickly he develops will impact the Dukes' record. He has two talented receivers in Dave Williams, a second-year transfer from Michigan State, and Akeem Moore.
