Steelers President Art Rooney this afternoon confirmed reports that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Friday about his suspension.
Rooney's statement: "Ben Roethlisberger is scheduled to meet with Commissioner Goodell on Friday to discuss Ben's upcoming suspension. We are looking forward to hearing from the Commissioner, but we will not have any further information or comment until after they speak."
Goodell has suspended Roethlisberger for the first six games of the season but when he did, he said he could reduce the suspension to four games if the quarterback followed a righteous path. Goodell has since praised Roethlisberger for going "above and beyond" that path he set out for him.
