Jazz organist Gene Ludwig dies at 72

Gene Ludwig, a leading figure on the Pittsburgh jazz scene for half a century and widely regarded as one of the titans of the Hammond organ, died Wednesday at Forbes Regional Hospital. The Monroeville resident was 72.
