Malin Bergquist has added industry specialist Dean Zerbe to the board of advisers of its national joint venture, the FD Alliance, comprised of Malin Bergquist and other CPA firms in Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix.

Mullen promoted Diana Peters-Wilkosz to senior media planner/buyer and Vince Robleto to copywriter.

Associations & Organizations

Kenneth S. Ramsey, president and CEO, Gateway Rehab, was reappointed as a member of the Pennsylvania Advisory Council on Drug and Alcohol Abuse.

Sharon A. Miller, director of education and community relations at NAMI Southwestern Pennsylvania, was appointed a member of the adult advisory committee of the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, state Department of Public Welfare.

Bob Bruce of Integrity Wealth Consulting LLC joined the board of the Beaver and Butler Counties Heart Association.

Jared N. Leland of Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch LLC was appointed to the Diocese of Pittsburgh's Catholic Legacy Foundation outreach and engagement committee. Mr. Leland is a member of its mergers and acquisitions and corporate practice groups and a principal of its investment banking affiliate, Renaissance Partners.

Paul J. Gitnik of Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch was appointed to the My Catholic Legacy Foundation of the Diocese of Pittsburgh advisory board and communication committee. Mr. Gitnik focuses on business, estates & trusts, healthcare, municipal, nonprofit, real estate and tax laws.

Banking & Finance

S&T Bancorp Inc. appointed Malcolm Polley and David Finui to senior leadership roles for S&T Wealth Management Group. Mr. Polley will serve as executive vice president and managing director, in addition to his role as president and chief investment officer of Stewart Capital Advisors, a subsidiary of S&T Bancorp. Mr. Finui will serve as senior vice president and senior wealth management adviser.

Design

PWCampbell hired Allyson Gaherty as vice president of retail integration and strategy, Derek Nichols as senior project manager for branding and merchandising and Frank Stumpo, project manager.

Engineering

Chester Engineers appointed William Sukenik, senior vice president and national wet weather practice leader.

Health & Medicine

St. Barnabas Health System hired Jack Hunt as an admissions counselor for the St. Barnabas Communities.

West Penn Allegheny Health System said Dr. William K. Johnjulio was appointed chair of its department of family medicine.

Dr. Akhtar S. Khan joined the division of transplantation surgery at Allegheny General Hospital.

Hotels

Pittsburgh Arena Hotel Associates LP, an affiliate of Horizon Properties Group and Horizon Hospitality, named Mark DeIntinis general manager and Diana Danchenka director of sales for the new Cambria Suites hotel. The 142-room, seven-story Cambria Suites hotel, located at 1320 Centre Ave., Uptown, is scheduled to open in December 2010. The hotel is adjacent to the Consol Energy Center, new home to the Penguins.

Insurance

Beth A. Essey joined Henderson Brothers Inc. and will produce and manage strategic accounts while helping refine service processes for the benefits division.

Manufacturing

United States Steel Corp. named Gerald W. Gagliano general manager-logistics services.

Nonprofit

Sister Charlene Reebel was named administrator at Vincentian Personal Care.

The American Red Cross Southwestern Pennsylvania Chapter hired Laurin Bucki as community health and safety specialist and Lauren Chapman, marketing and communications specialist.

Reading is FUNdamental Pittsburgh named its board. President: Matthew Mohn, corporate attorney, Reed Smith; vice president: Kim Johnson, community volunteer; secretary: Mary Jo Meenen, development director for the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh; and treasurer: Joseph Burke, teacher with Imagine Environmental Charter School at Frick Park. Abass Kamara, director of government affairs for the Penguins, was named to the board.

Jessica Schlie was named new Skills Training and Rehabilitation for Individual Vocational Enhancement program supervisor at the Spina Bifida Association of Western Pennsylvania.

Danielle L. Dietrich of Tucker Arensberg was elected secretary of the board of Lydia's Place Inc.; she focuses on complex commercial litigation and general civil and commercial litigation.

Public Relations

WordWrite Communications promoted Deanna Ferrari to senior account executive.

Real Estate

Toni Guarino has joined Burns & Scalo Real Estate Services Inc. as administrative assistant/receptionist.
