UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State point guard Talor Battle withdrew his name from consideration for the 2010 NBA draft today, allowing him to return for his senior season.
Underclassmen who had not signed with agents had until 5 p.m. today to stay in the draft or opt out of it.
Battle delivered a letter to athletic director Tim Curley to make his decision official, according to a Penn State spokesman.
Battle ranks seventh all-time in school history with 1,526 points. He worked out for the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers on Friday.
