WINE AND DINE

• The Hoyt Institute of Fine Art in New Castle is holding its ninth annual wine tasting at 7 p.m. May 15. The evening will include a tasting of 13 California wines, a vodka bar, beer and water stations, hors d'oeuvres prepared by Medure's Catering, a silent auction, raffle and live entertainment.
