The pilot of a small plane made a safe forced landing in the backyard of a Fayette County home Sunday evening, according to reports from the county dispatch center.
The pilot and three passengers were unharmed, and the only significant damage was some downed power and cable lines.
The airplane was reportedly en route from Buffalo, N.Y., to Morgantown, W.Va. The pilot set it down at about 7:42 p.m. in the large yard of a house in Bullskin. State police were on the scene, but no other information was immediately available.
