Friday, February 26, 2010

The Jacks Run Bridge, which connects California Avenue on Pittsburgh's North Side with Lincoln Avenue in Bellevue, will close for reconstruction on Monday.

The 86-year-old concrete arch bridge will close at 9 a.m. and remain closed until Dec. 1, the Allegheny County Public Works Department said.

Pedestrian access will be maintained on one side of the bridge at all times.

Traffic will be detoured via Brighton Road and Benton Avenue.
