Replacement of the bridge carrying Greensburg Pike over Route 30 in North Versailles will begin March 1, with full closure of the span through late November, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Monday.
Traffic will be detoured.
The $4.5 million project includes removing and replacing the steel bridge, pavement work on approaches, guide rail and drainage upgrades.
Lane closures and weekend detours also will occur on Route 30 at various times during the upcoming construction season. PennDOT said it will release details later.
