
It's high school musical season again. Although some shows at high schools across the region already have begun, most are scheduled in March and April.
Below is a list of shows in chronological order, as well as three awards shows where most of these musicals will be considered.
The 14th annual Westmoreland Night of the Stars is 6:45 p.m. May 5 at the Palace Theatre, Greensburg; 15 Westmoreland County high schools are entered (denoted with a +).
The 16th annual Henry Mancini Awards for Butler, Lawrence and Beaver counties is 7 p.m. May 12 at Metheny Fieldhouse, Geneva College, Beaver Falls; 13 schools entered (denoted with an @).
The 20th annual Gene Kelly Awards for Allegheny County high schools is at 7:30 p.m. May 29 at the Benedum Center, Downtown; 30 schools entered (denoted with an ).
