United Steelworkers will endorse Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato for governor on Wednesday.

It is the second major labor endorsement Mr. Onorato has received in his bid for the Democratic nomination. A state wide Teamsters group gave him their backing earlier this month.

USW International President Leo W. Gerard and USW District 10 Pennsylvania Director John DeFazio are scheduled to appear with Mr. Onorato at a press conference heralding the endorsement Wednesday morning.
