• California University of Pennsylvania, in conjunction with Intermediate Unit 1, is hosting its annual autism conference "P.E.P.: The Partnership Continues" from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 10. Keynote speaker is Peter Gerhardt, president and chair of the Scientific Council for the Organization for Autism Research, and participants may attend two of a number of afternoon breakout sessions. The cost is $40 for parents and family members, $75 for educators and other professionals and $20 for students with proper identification before Feb. 15; afterwards, $50, $90 and $30, respectively. Speaker for the Feb. 18 meeting is Julie Gigliotti of the Allegheny Center Alliance Church Christian Counselors Collaborative, whose topic is "Codependency: How It Affects Relationships in the Workplace."
