The Port Authority of Allegheny County plans to restore more bus routes and resume light-rail service to the Steel Plaza and Wood Street stations this morning.
Transit officials, however, say riders should anticipate slow travel and delays during the morning rush hour.
All but 23 bus routes will be providing service this morning, according to the Port Authority. A total of 39 bus routes will be detoured from their regular routes or may not be able to provide service into some areas where roads are impassable. Route-by-route details are available at www.portauthority.org.
Also this morning:
All but two park-and-ride lots are open. The Mt. Lebanon and Olympia (McKeesport) lots have not been cleared of snow.
The Mon Incline is in service.
The 52 Allentown light-rail route will not be in service and a shuttle will not be provided. Parts of the route are impassable and stranded vehicles are blocking portions of the line.
The Wabash HOV lanes will remain closed
