Friday, February 05, 2010

Two women and a man face felony charges in connection with more than $10,000 in vandalism damage caused by pellets from an air rifle in December in several Ohio River Valley communities.

The suspects were arrested Wednesday. They are Johnette Freiberger, 28, of McKees Rocks; Paul A. McIntyre, 27, of Beaver Falls; and his sister, Patricia N. McIntyre, 26, of Stowe.

McKees Rocks police Chief Robert Cifrulak said the trio rode in a car through Stowe, McKees Rocks and parts of Pittsburgh on Dec. 4.

Ms. Freiberger told police she had been driving as the brother and sister took turns firing from the moving vehicle.

Fifty-four automobiles were damaged, as well as two houses and a business front.

The suspects were arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Mary Ann Cercone in McKees Rocks, where preliminary hearings are scheduled next Tuesday.
