Due to potentially unsafe driving conditions this weekend from an expected snowstorm, The Meadows Racetrack and Casino has postponed Saturday's talent search for table game dealers.
The talent search scheduled for Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. will continue as planned.
The second talent show now will take place on Feb. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Both are being held at the Holiday Inn Washington-Meadow Lands, 340 Racetrack Road, just down the hill from The Meadows.
Anyone interested in a job as a table-games dealer is encouraged to have a resume and be prepared to "audition" for a position. Each applicant will be given a 30-second audition, and those who impress Meadows' officials will be selected to participate in The Meadows table games school. People can do anything they want for their audition, whether it's a magic trick, singing a song, or telling a funny story.
