Thanks for participating in the Pitt basketball Q&A.

Keep the questions rolling in and I will answer them every day throughout the season and March Madness.

One other thing -- my weekly live Pitt basketball chats will take place Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m..

Q: Ray, I think it's about time that Dixon shuffles up his line up because what he has on the court now isn't working.

Ashton Gibbs is doing Pitt more harm than good. These Big East guards are eating him for lunch and he can't make a bucket nor play half decent defense! Bring him off the bench because he's nothing more then a spot up shooter on a good day.

Dante Taylor needs more court time to become better especially if he's playing out of position or allow him to play his All-American position of power forward, which allows Brown to play his natural position at small forward.

Brad Wannamaker and Jermaine Dixon can share bringing the ball up at point and shooting guard and now that gives you size in the paint to bang with these big boys.

If you noticed the top four teams in the Big East all have hogs in the paint and athletic guards on the perimeter. We won't win anything with the lineup we have now.

And how does Brown, your most efficient and athletic player, come off the bench five or six minutes into the game? How you start and how you finish are important in the game of basketball and the best player on the team is on the bench. Someone needs to check Nasir Robinson's stats vs. Brown and reconsider some things.

Mike Pettis, Philadelphia

FITTIPALDO: So let me get this straight. You want to bench the team's leading scorer and relegate him to a reserve role while giving more playing time to a freshman who has not scored in three games? Pitt's lack of a point guard that can run this team hurts and has several players playing out of position, but benching Gibbs and putting Wanamaker or Dixon at the point will not work. Wanamaker is a turnover machine without the ball in his hands on every play. I can't imagine what hs turnovers would be if he had to play point guard. Like it or not, this is the lineup going forward. I do not expect many changes. The only change I foresee if Brown replacing Robinson in the starting lineup. I still think that happens at some point.
