Opening reception held for Frick Art Museum exhibit "1934: A New Deal for Artists"

The Frick Art Museum held an opening reception for its latest exhibition, "1934: A New Deal for Artists," on Friday evening. The exhibit celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Public Works of Art Project and was organized by the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Support for the Pittsburgh presentation comes in part from the Millstein Charitable Foundation and U.S. Steel, represented by Cindy and Mike Hatcher, who is a Frick trustee and VP of procurement, raw materials and real estate for U.S. Steel.
