The Dave Matthews Band is moving back Downtown this summer.
Rather than its usual two-night stand in Burgettstown, the powerhouse jam band will headline PNC Park on July 10 with the Zac Brown Band. It's the first time the DMB has played in the city since that rainy July night in 2000 at Three Rivers Stadium.
The DMB opens its summer tour May 28 in Hartford and it will run through mid-September. The band is is nominated for two Grammy Awards Sunday night -- Album Of The Year and Best Rock Album -- for "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King." The Zac Brown Band is nominated for Best New Artist.
An online ticket-request period begins this Thursday, Jan. 28, and continues through Monday, Feb. 8, at www.warehouse.davematthewsband.com. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Feb. 26.
