One person was killed and three others, including two young boys, were hurt in a one-vehicle crash in Westmoreland County Saturday night.
State police at Greensburg said 20-year-old Carla Jean Corley of Mount Pleasant lost control of her 1994 Jeep Cherokee at 9:50 p.m. on Kecksburg Road in Mount Pleasant. It crashed into a utility pole and a tree. Police said Ms. Corley died from her injuries. She had been wearing a seat belt.
An emergency dispatch supervisor said the passengers were flown by medical helicopter to Pittsburgh hospitals.
Police identified the other adult in the vehicle as Joshua Adam Bowman, 27, of Connellsville. Though ages and identifications were unavailable, state police described the children who were hurt as "toddlers."
