MIAMI GARDENS Fla. -- The Steelers were officially eliminated from playoff contention tonight when the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Raiders in Oakland, 21-13.
The victory gives Baltimore one of two wildcard playoff berths. The other will go to either the Houston Texans, who defeated New England in the afternoon, or the New York Jets if they beat Cincinnati tonight.
The Steelers finished 9-7 but lose tiebreakers to both Baltimore, and either Houston or the Jets.
