The state Department of Health will hold H1N1 flu vaccination clinics across Pennsylvania on Jan. 8 and 9.
They are designed to reach people who do not have access to the vaccine through a health-care provider. The clinics, open to anyone, will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Appointments are needed and can be made 24 hours a day at www.H1N1inPA.com under "What's Hot." Appointments also may be made by calling 1-877-724-3258, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cranberry: Butler Auto Auction, 21095 Route 19.
Hempfield: The Event Center at Westmoreland Mall, 5626 Route 30.
Indiana: Indiana University of Pennsylvania Zink Hall, 1190 Maple St.
Lemont Furnace: Joseph A. Hardy Connellsville Airport, Route 119 Airport Road.
Somerset: Georgian Place Shopping & Office Village.
Washington: Washington County Agricultural Fairgrounds, 2151 N. Main St.
In Allegheny County, the health department is open to walk-in clients at its Oakland clinic at 3441 Forbes Ave. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every weekday except Wednesday, when it is open until 7 p.m.
