Monday, December 21, 2009

The Pitt football team has landed its fifth recruit from the WPIAL class of 2010.

Brandon Ifill, a senior at Penn Hills High School, made a verbal commitment to Pitt tonight. Ifill played receiver and cornerback at Penn Hills, but was recruited by Pitt as a cornerback. Maryland was Ifill's other top choice, although he had a number of other scholarship offers from Division I schools.

The other Pitt recruits from the WPIAL senior class are Sto-Rox receiver Drew Carswell, Penn Hills defensive lineman Aaron Donald, Woodland Hills lineman Khaynin Mosley-Smith and Clairton receiver-defensive back Kevin Weatherspoon.
