A 33-year-old man died this month after accidentally shooting himself in the head at a Clairton bar, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner's office.

Christopher Bell was playing with a handgun at Shady's Lounge in the early hours of Dec. 11 when the weapon hit a table and fired.

Mr. Bell was pronounced dead at UPMC Presbyterian. He did not have a license to carry a firearm, police said.

No one has been charged in connection with Mr. Bell's death.
