Internet dog license service announced
Monday, December 21, 2009

Allegheny County residents will be able to renew their 2010 dog licenses online, the treasurer announced.

Treasurer John Weinstein said dog owners will be able to purchase licenses, add a new dog to the data base, correct information on dog or owner information, and get an e-mail confirmation and receipt.

To access this option, visit the Treasurer's Web site at www.alleghenycounty.us/treasure and click on the dog license icon. There is a $1 processing convenience fee per transaction to provide this service. Dog licenses are also available through the mail, or in person at the Treasurer's Office.
