A Union City, Erie County, man was charged yesterday in the July killing and robbery of a Union man in July.
Raymond Goodwill Jr., 79, of West High Street Extension, was found dead in his home the morning of July 4 by a female acquaintance. The Erie County coroner's office attributed the death to blunt force trauma to the head.
State police in Erie arrested Donald Howard, 46, a friend of the victim, based on interviews with acquaintances and DNA evidence collected from the victim's wallet.
