A 38-year-old man committed suicide today after killing a 40-year-old woman in Indiana County, according to state police.

Police said that Rodney Jay Wagner, of Dixonville, shot and killed Kimberley Ann Romagnia this morning at her home on Hancock Street in Clymer. Her family members were sleeping upstairs at the time.

Mr. Wagner fled, but police found his truck outside his home in Dixonville.

State police surrounded the area, but when they entered his home, Mr. Wagner was found dead. Police believe that he shot himself.
