Two people have been rescued from a tugboat that sank in the Ohio River in Beaver County, emergency dispatchers there said. Neither person required hospital treatment.
The rescue occurred near Georgetown shortly after 4 p.m. A distress call came in at 3:50 from C & C Marine Maintenance Co. near milepost 40 in Georgetown. It was not immediately clear why the boat began to sink.
