Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl yesterday nominated Maelene Myers, executive director of East Liberty Development Inc., to join the City Planning Commission.
That nomination, along with the renomination to the commission of developer Todd Reidbord, will require votes of city council. So will the nominations of longtime arts community and neighborhood development professional Kilolo Luckett to the Art Commission; David May and Isobel Storch to the Ethics Hearing Board; and the renomination of Kirk Burkley to the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Other nominations not requiring council votes are the reappointments of Linda Judson to the Pittsburgh Parking Authority, and of Robert D. Jones and Stanley J. Parker to the Allegheny Regional Asset District board. Council may interview all nominees and appointees starting next week.
