Goligoski to miss tonight's Penguins' game
Monday, November 30, 2009

NEW YORK -- Defenseman Alex Goligoski, who returned to the Penguins' lineup Saturday after missing six games because of an apparent groin injury, is not participating in their game-day skate and will not play against the New York Rangers tonight at 7:08 at Madison Square Garden.

His place will be taken by veteran Jay McKee, who missed the past six games because of an infected finger.

Goligoski appeared to have trouble pushing off during the Penguins' 8-3 victory against New York at Mellon Arena Saturday, and he had several Rangers get around him with uncharacteristic ease.

The Penguins have not disclosed the nature of Goligoski's injury.
