Concussed quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and starting defensive end Travis Kirschke were listed by the Steelers this afternoon as questionable -- making each a 50-50 proposition to play -- but both practiced fully today and are expected to start Sunday night for the Steelers' game in Baltmore.
Roethlisberger was injured in overtime at Kansas City last Sunday but returned to practice all three Steelers' workdays this week, professing no ill effects. Kirschke, who missed the past three games with a torn calf muscle, pronounced himself ready to play and start against the Ravens in M&T Bank Stadium at 8:20 p.m.
Safety Troy Polamalu (PCL) and guard Chris Kemoeatu (MCL), as expected, were listed as out and won't play. Halfback Willie Parker, who like Kirschke and Roethlisberger fully participated in today's practice after being limited by a hip injury yesterday, was listed as probable.
Meanwhile, the Ravens' injury report contains much of their star-studded defense.
Safety Ed Reed (foot and illness) and linebacker Terrell Suggs (knee) sat out Baltimore's practices today and Wednesday, while middle linebacker Ray Lewis (foot) was listed as having limited participation today. Suggs was considered doubtful, meaning there was a 75 percent chance he wouldn't play, while Lewis and Reed were listed as questionable.
Probable for the Ravens were: tight end Todd Heap (chest), center Matt Birk (neck), tight end L.J. Smith (illness), linebacker Jarrett Johnson (shoulder) and defensive tackle Halota Ngata (ankle), who was limited in both Baltimore practices this week, Wednesday and today.
