A Cambria County man was killed yesterday in a two-car crash in Indiana County.
State police said David McKrush, 49, of Portage, was a passenger in a pickup truck when the accident occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Route 286. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the pickup truck was traveling eastbound when a car driven by Ryan Buzzard, 24, of Blairsville, Indiana County, failed to negotiate a curve heading west, crossed the center line and struck the pickup head-on.
Mr. Buzzard was flown to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
The driver of the pickup in which Mr. McKrush was riding, Anthony Mickus, 45, of Sidman, Cambria County, was transported to Indiana Hospital.
Police said they suffered moderate injuries. Their conditions were not known last night.
