Q: Hi Ray, I was just curious about what Carl Krauser was up to these days. Is he still playing professionally?

Kemesh Krishnamurthy, Pittsburgh

FITTIPALDO: I saw Krauser, who played at Pitt from 2002-06, before the Binghamton game last week. He was with his son and stopped by the Beano Cook media room to retrieve some media guides for friends and family. Krauser, as Pitt fans won't soon forget, is a prominent figure in the Pitt record books. He is the school's No. 10 all-time leading scorer with 1,642 points and finished his career with 568 assists, which is the fifth-most in school history. He is not currently playing anywhere, but he said he was hoping to hook on with a team soon. He has played in several different countries since leaving Pitt and has done quite well for himself as have many former players who did not make the NBA.
