A woman and her baby appeared to be fine after the woman gave birth this morning in a vehicle on the Parkway North on the North Side.

City paramedics responded to the scene to assist with the birth, reported just before 9 a.m.

Mother and child quickly were taken to UPMC Magee Women's Hospital before police arrived at the scene.
