Tim Duncan had 24 points and 12 rebounds, and the San Antonio Spurs halted the visiting Milwaukee Bucks' three-game winning streak with a 112-98 victory last night.
Matt Bonner had 23 points off the bench and the Spurs won consecutive games for only the second time this season.
They also finally took advantage of a big night from Duncan, having previously been 0-4 when the All-Star scored 20 or more.
Ersan Illyasova led Milwaukee with 20 points. Brandon Jennings scored 12, held well below his rookie-leading average of 25.3 points per game.
Michael Redd scored four points in his first action in nine games. The All-Star strained a tendon in his left knee when he went up for a dunk in Milwaukee's first game of the season.
George Hill had 14 points off the bench for the Spurs.
Grizzlies 116, Kings 105: Rudy Gay scored 24 points, O.J. Mayo added 20 as host Memphis beat Sacramento, sending the Kings to their fourth loss in a row. Marc Gasol finished with 18 points and four blocks for Memphis.
Clippers 91, Timberwolves 87: Al Thornton had 31 points for host Los Angeles.
Tracy McGrady returned to practice with the Houston Rockets for the first time since microfracture surgery in February yesterday, but the seven-time All-Star still doesn't know when he'll play. ... Shaquille O'Neal asked for a shot. The Cavaliers gave him 10 days off instead. The team wouldn't comply when O'Neal asked for a cortisone injection to make his ailing shoulder feel better, choosing to treat it with rest and rehab.
