Blackburn Road to reopen in Sewickley Heights
Monday, November 23, 2009

Blackburn Road in Sewickley Heights will reopen in time for tomorrow's morning rush, Allegheny County Public Works Director Joe Olczak said today.

The road has been closed between Hill Street and Thawmont Road since April 20 for retaining wall repairs that were supposed to be finished by August, but the work was extended when an additional section of wall collapsed.

Mr. Olczak said some intermittent lane restrictions still are possible as utility crews complete their work in the area.
