Man shot in head, chest in Uptown

City police are looking for help in their investigation of a shooting early yesterday in Uptown.

Daniel Baptist, 19, was found lying in the street at about 4:30 a.m. with multiple gunshots to the head and chest, according to police.

He was in critical condition at UPMC Mercy. The shooting occurred outside 2016 Tustin St.

No arrests had been made.

Homicide detectives learned that Mr. Baptist had just left a party and was going home when witnesses heard gunshots.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Pittsburgh homicide detectives at 412-323-7161.
