Pitt women impressive in 81-58 victory
Friday, November 20, 2009

Florida was supposed to provide the Pitt women's team with its first real test of the season tonight when the two teams met at the Petersen Events Center.

If that is the case, the Panthers passed with flying colors.

Pitt jumped out to a 23-point half-time lead over the Gators, led by more than 30 for most of the second half and cruised to an impressive 81-58 victory.

The Panthers (2-0) were led by 25 points from junior Taneisha Harrison and got ten points and 11 rebounds from forward Chelsea Cole.
