Pitt senior guard Jermaine Dixon will be out another two to three weeks while he rehabilitates a slow-to-heal foot injury. Dixon will miss next week's O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic in Kansas City as well as the home game against Youngstown State Nov. 28.
Pitt will play Wichita State in a semifinal game at the CBE Classsic Monday night. The winner of that game will play the winner of the No. 3 Texas-Iowa game Tuesday night. The losers will play in a consolation game Tuesday night.
Dixon had surgery in September to repair a fractured bone in his foot. Another x-ray taken today revealed that the fracture is healing slower than doctors had originally anticpated.
