Williams finished with 13 points for Dayton (2-0), which got 47 points from its backups, including 19 from Chris Johnson.
Maurice Miller and Derrick Favors led Georgia Tech (1-1) with 10 points apiece.
Kentucky 102, Sam Houston State 92: DeMarcus Cousins had 27 points and 18 rebounds to help No. 4 Kentucky (3-0) outlast Sam Houston State in the Cancun Challenge. Corey Allmond poured in 37 points and made a Rupp Arena record 11 3-pointers for Sam Houston State (2-1).

Notre Dame 68, Michigan State 67: Ashley Barlow scored 18 points and hit a tiebreaking free throw with 10 seconds left, lifting No. 5 Notre Dame (2-0) past No. 21 Michigan State (1-2) at East Lansing, Mich.
Arizona State 82, Yale: 46: Becca Tobin scored 14 points and No. 14 Arizona State held host Yale scoreless for more than nine minutes in the first half.
