A woman's body was found in a wooded area of East Hills yesterday afternoon, police said.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene near Bracey Drive shortly after 4 p.m. Police do not believe that foul play was involved.

Police were able to identify the woman but did not release her name, saying only that she was white. An autopsy was pending.
