A Butler County man yesterday waived his right to a preliminary hearing on nearly 100 counts of sexual abuse of children, state police said.
Jordan J. Stanford, 19, of Slippery Rock, was arrested in September following an investigation that ended July 24 when investigators seized his personal computer for forensic examination.
Mr. Stanford is being held on $50,000 bail, pending trial on four counts of photographing, videotaping or filming the acts on a computer; one count of tampering with or fabricating evidence; one count of criminal use of a communications facility; and 90 counts of possession of child pornography.
At least two of the children depicted in his possessions are from the Slippery Rock area, police said.
