Fort Duquesne Bridge, Downtown -- Ramp from Fort Duquesne Boulevard to northbound deck closed from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday for deck grooving. The right lane on the bridge upper deck also closed tomorrow for equipment and worker access. Ramp from upper deck to northbound Route 65 closed 6 a.m. to noon.
Liberty Tunnels, Downtown -- One lane open outbound from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday night and midnight Friday to 7 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21. Crews installing equipment for cell phone access inside the outbound tunnel.
Parkway North -- One lane closed in both directions between Interstate 79 and Bellevue-West View from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
UPDATES from Wednesday, Nov. 18
Parkway West -- Inbound ramp to Route 60/Steubenville Pike closed from 7 a.m. Monday to 7 p.m. Tuesday as part of ongoing interchange reconstruction.
Point Marion Bridge -- Closed to traffic 7 a.m. to noon Monday during implosion of the remaining segments of the old bridge. Detour via Route 88, Route 21 and Route 166.
Rich Hill Road, Harmar -- Deer Creek Bridge No. 4 closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday for setting of new bridge beams.
Route 910, Indiana Township, Harmar -- Closed westbound between the southbound Route 28 off-ramp and Locust Hill Road 7 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday for preliminary work on 2010 project. Detour posted.
UPDATES from Monday, Nov. 16
Bakerstown Road, West Deer -- Repairs to closed Culmerville Truss bridge owned by Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad to begin this week, with road expected to reopen by Thanksgiving. Detour posted.
Fort Pitt Tunnel -- One lane closed from 10:30 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday for lighting repairs.
Haymaker Road, Monroeville -- Single-lane closures in both directions near the Parkway East from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through Saturday morning.
Interstate 79, South Fayette -- Southbound rest stop closed 4 a.m. to noon Tuesday for movie filming. Northbound rest stop open.
Parkway East -- One lane closed outbound 9 p.m. Monday through 5 a.m. Thursday in the area of the Jefferson Heights Road bridge between Penn Hills and Plum.
Intermittent lane closures 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily through Friday morning in both directions from Squirrel Hill Tunnel to 1.5 miles west of tunnel.
Intermittent lane closures in both directions from Downtown to the Pennsylvania Turnpike 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily through Sunday morning during sign installation.
Parkway North, North Side -- Single lane closures in one direction at a time 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday in the area between Anderson Street and Mazeroski Way during inspection.
Parkway West -- Intermittent single- and double-lane closures inbound starting at 9 p.m. nightly through Saturday morning for sign installation.
Also, intermittent, single-lane closures between the Business Route 60 interchanges (Exits 50 and 57) in Moon from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
Route 28, Tarentum -- Northbound ramps at Exit 14 reopen at 2 p.m. Tuesday. No more ramp closures scheduled as part of Creighton to Butler County improvement project. Lane closures will continue in both directions through December.
Allegheny County
Bakerstown Road, West Deer -- Closed until further notice at the intersection with Saxonburg Boulevard due to significant deterioration of the Culmerville Truss bridge, owned by Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad. Detour posted.
Blythedale Road, Elizabeth Township -- Reduced to alternating single-lane traffic because of collapse of the northbound lane between Shaler Street and Fallen Timber Road.
Browns Hill Road, Squirrel Hill -- Lane restrictions during project to add turn lanes. Work to be suspended for winter after Thanksgiving.
Cochrans Mill Road, Jefferson Hills -- Closed between Stilley Road and West Bruceton Road until Feb. 1 for bridge replacement. Detour posted.
Dorrington Road, Collier -- Bridge closed over Robinson Run between Cluxton Street and Noblestown Road around the clock through April 2010. Road open to local traffic only.
Forest Grove Road, Kennedy -- Bridge over Interstate 79 scheduled to reopen Nov. 25.
Fort Duquesne Bridge -- Ramp from the 10th Street Bypass to the northbound bridge closed until Nov. 25.
Graham Road, Pine -- Closed between Pearce Mill Road and English Road until summer 2012 during replacement of a Pennsylvania Turnpike bridge.
Interstate 79, Marshall -- Single-lane traffic in both directions in the bridge area through the Wexford interchange (Exit 73) nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday morning.
Single-lane traffic in both directions at the bridge over the Pennsylvania Turnpike from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday-Thursday nights.
Interstate 79, Neville -- Neville Island Bridge restricted to one lane in each direction nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays. Two lanes open in each direction at other times.
Interstate 79, South Fayette -- Southbound rest area to be closed from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday for the filming of "Love and Other Drugs." Northbound rest area open.
Jefferson Heights Road, Penn Hills -- Bridge over Parkway East closed through end of year for rehabilitation. Detour posted.
Liberty Tunnels -- Inbound tunnel closed for major rehabilitation Sundays through Thursdays from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. through late August 2010.
Light Rail Transit -- Wood Street station closed until at least 2 p.m. Sunday. Gateway Center closed through 2011.
Old State Road, Pine -- Closed between Whippoorwill Hill Road and Fox Hollow Lane for replacement of a Pennsylvania Turnpike bridge through mid-summer 2012. Detour posted.
McKees Rocks Bridge -- Single lane in each direction through midnight Friday, then full closure in both directions through 6 a.m. Monday, when all lanes scheduled to reopen. Detour via West End Bridge. Some single-lane closures possible 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through mid-December as rehabilitation project is wrapped up.
Parkway North -- Single-lane traffic between I-79 and Bellevue-West View nightly Monday through Friday morning, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. northbound and 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. southbound.
Rankin Bridge -- Single-lane traffic continues in each direction through October 2010. Sidewalk on main span closed for reconstruction. Port Authority has free-ride zone between Rankin and Whitaker for pedestrians for the duration of construction.
Business Route 22, Wilkins -- Lane closures in both directions on the bridge over Chalfant Run between Rodi Road and Hawthorne Drive from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Wednesday.
Route 28, North Side, Millvale -- Intermittent lane closures in both directions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Nov. 30 between Chestnut Street and Evergreen Road as crews install posts for traffic cameras and other Intelligent Transportation System components in advance of major reconstruction project.
Route 28, Tarentum -- Northbound on- and off-ramps at Exit 14 closed around-the-clock through Tuesday.
Route 130/Beulah Road, Churchill -- Alternating single-lane traffic between Long Road and McGrady Road north of the Parkway East from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Thursday.
Route 130, Wilkins -- Washout repair and drainage improvements to cause alternating single-lane traffic near Briaridge Drive from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Dec. 4.
Route 910, Indiana Township, Harmar -- Closed westbound between the southbound Route 28 off-ramp and Locust Hill Road through 6 a.m. Monday and on several upcoming weekends for preliminary work on 2010 project. Detour posted.
Route 910, Marshall -- One lane in both directions at bridge over I-79 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday morning.
Tri-Boro Expressway -- Expressway/Braddock Avenue closed in both directions from O'Connell Boulevard to Cable Avenue for bridge replacement. Also, East Pittsburgh-McKeesport Boulevard closed from Elder Street to the Tri-Boro Expressway. Main Street under the bridge closed from Braddock Avenue to Bessemer Avenue, all until late this year.
Armstrong County
Route 422, East Franklin -- Long-term lane closures planned through September 2010 during rehabilitation of two bridges over Route 28.
Beaver County
Route 60 -- Single-lane traffic southbound near the Route 51/Chippewa interchange (Exit 23) around-the-clock through late November.
Butler County
Hartmann Road/Harmony Junction Bridge, Jackson -- Closed for reconstruction expected to continue until June 2010. Detour via Routes 68 and 19 and Little Creek and Seneca School roads.
Fayette County
Route 119, North Union and South Union -- Northbound lanes closed from Redstone Creek Bridge to approximately 1,500 feet past the Gallatin Avenue interchange for Mon-Fayette Expressway construction through Friday. Northbound traffic shifted to southbound lanes, one lane in each direction. Also, the ramp to Route 51 will be closed from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. Detour posted.
Point Marion Bridge -- Closed 7 a.m. to noon Monday during demolition of old bridge. Detour posted.
Indiana County
Smicksburg Bridge, Smicksburg and West Mahoning -- Replacement project reduces Route 954 to one-way alternating traffic until May 2010.
Mercer County
Interstate 80 -- Single-lane traffic possible from Ohio line to Mercer (Exit 15) except for weekends (4 p.m. Fridays until 6 a.m. Mondays). Work expected to be completed by May 2010 but will be suspended during winter.
Washington County
Charleroi-Monessen Bridge -- Closed after inspection revealed structural deficiencies.
Donora-Webster Bridge -- Closed until further notice.
Route 40, Centerville -- Closed in both directions during repairs of slide condition to be completed by end of November.
Westmoreland County
Route 22, New Alexandria -- Traffic switched to westbound side with one lane open in each direction in work zones from Carter Road to Indiana County line.
Route 30, Hempfield/North Huntingdon -- Restricted to one lane in each direction between Arona Road and West Penn Drive/Possum Hollow Road during nighttime work.
