3 Edinboro students killed in collision
Friday, November 13, 2009

A former Baldwin High School student was among three Edinboro University students killed in a two-car crash Wednesday night.

John Eyrolles, 18, was a passenger in a car driven by fellow Edinboro freshman Domenico Crea, who, police said, was speeding before the crash at 5:18 p.m. on Draketown Road in Washington Township, a few miles east of the campus.

Mr. Crea, 18, of Erie, attempted to pass another car at the crest of the hill and collided with a car driven by Edinboro senior Sheldon R. Harmon, 21, of Bolivar, N.Y.

Mr. Eyrolles and his driver were not wearing seatbelts, but Mr. Harmon had been strapped in, troopers said.
