Q: At least one site - CollegeBCS.com - has Penn State and Pitt meeting in the Fiesta Bowl. What needs to happen the rest of the way in order for them to meet there?

Tommy Phillips, Plum

MUSSELMAN: Most Penn State and Pitt fans would love to see the two teams play again, but I think it is a real long shot. BCS expert Jerry Palm, who I talked to the other day and who runs that site you are talking about, had Penn State paired against Pitt in the Fiesta Bowl in his last projection. But Palm told me, "After thinking about it, I don't see that happening." Palm said he is "90 percent" certain Penn State will end up in the Orange Bowl against Georgia Tech if the Nittany Lions beat Indiana and Michigan State in the final two games and finish in the top 14 of the BCS standings. All of this is pure speculation at this point. We'll know a lot more in a few weeks.
