ART

Ross -- North Hills Art Center, 3432 Babcock Blvd., will open its annual student and instructor art show with music and refreshments from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 21. The holiday handcraft gift shop will also be open. Both the art exhibit and handcraft sale will continue until Jan. 6. Admission and parking are free.

CRAFTS

Etna -- A craft and vendor show, sponsored by All Saints Church Christian Mothers & Guild, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Activities Building on Dewey St. Raffles and refreshments will be available. Admission is free; for more information call Cathy at 412-781-4788.

DINING OUT

Marshall -- A lasagna dinner will be served from 5:30 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 670 Pleasant Hills Road. Adults $8; Children 4 to 10 years old, $5. Dine in or take out. For more information call 724-935-3316.

O'Hara -- Fox Chapel Area Band Parents Association is holding a spaghetti supper fundraiser from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Fox Chapel Area High School cafeteria, 611 Field Club Road. All tickets are $6 and will be sold at the door. Stop for dinner after the association's craft show at the high school from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

ENTERTAINMENT

Jackson -- Seneca Valley Middle School will present "Cyrano," at 7 p.m. Nov. 12-14, in the district's Intermediate High School auditorium on Seneca School Road. All tickets are $7, and will be sold outside the middle school cafeteria from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today and tomorrow. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. There will be open seating.

McCandless -- The Duquesne University Tamburitzans will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 at Carson Middle School, 200 Hillvue Lane. Reserved seating; admission is $18 for adults, $12 students and seniors. Advance tickets are $15 for adults, $10 students and seniors. Call 412-364-7424. Sponsored by the Friends of the Tamburitzans support group.

Pine -- The township will hold a family movie night at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Pine Community Center, 100 Pine Park Drive, featuring the movie "Hotel for Dogs," rated PG. Free.

Harrison -- The Highlands High School Players will present "A Night of One Acts!" at 7 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday, at Highlands High School, 1500 Pacific Ave., Natrona Heights. Ross -- A tribute to Nat "King" Cole, featuring Walt Maddox, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in the North Hills Junior High School auditorium, 55 Rochester Road. The concert is sponsored by the St. Sebastian School Parent Teacher Guild and will benefit the school. Tickets are $10, call patty at 412-821-5452 or 412-364-8999 to purchase.

Ross -- North Hills Senior High School will perform "M• A• S• H" at 8 p.m. next Thursday through Nov. 21 in the high school auditorium, 53 Rochester Road. Tickets are $6 or adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. All tickets are general admission and will be sold at the door beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. In addition, a matinee for senior citizens will be presented at 2 p.m. Nov. 21. Admission is free to district residents 60 years of age or older. All others will be charged regular admission. DONATIONS

Cranberry -- Cranberry Township Community Chest is sponsoring a clothing drive to benefit local families. The focus is on clothing for youngsters in kindergarten through 6th grades. New or used pants, shirts, and sweaters in good condition are needed. Drop items in donation boxes in the Cranberry municipal center on Rochester Road between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays through November. FUNDRAISERS

Marshall -- Symphony North, an affiliate of the Pittsburgh Symphony Association, will be host to Stepping Out in Style Saturday at the Four Points Sheraton North. Doors open at 10 a.m. for boutiques and a ticket auction. Lunch will be served at noon, followed by a Macy's fashion show at 1 p.m.. Tickets are $35, proceeds will benefit the PSO and the Symphony North scholarship fund.

Hampton -- Howard Hanna Real Estate Services will hold a Night at the Races on Nov. 20 to benefit Children's Hospital Free Care Fund at the Hampton Volunteer Fire Department on Duncan Avenue. Doors will open at 6 p.m.; post time is 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and include buffet, beer, refreshments and auction tickets. Call 412-487-7787.

HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS

Cranberry -- Families are invited to participate in a Christmas service project to be hosted by Dutilh Church, 1270 Dutilh Road, from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 12. After a breakfast, have a family photo taken, create a memento to take home and pack infant kits that will be donated to local families through the mission group based at Calvary/New Hope United Methodist Church on the North Side. Harmony -- Reservations are being accepted for a Victorian Christmas tea at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 28 to be hosted by the Harmony Business Association in the Harmony Museum Stewart Hall. Reservations are $20 per person, are required by Wednesday. Call The Exchange at Harmony at 724-452-6220. Those attending are invited to wear Victorian-style hats or to borrow one from a selection that will be available in Stewart Hall. Shop for seasonal items, ornaments and home decor giftware. Harmony's shops and art gallery, offering a variety of wares, will be open during the day.

Marshall -- The Olive Branch Gift Shop, a mission of the Salem United Methodist Church, 350 Manor Road, is having an open house grand re-opening, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday. A 10 percent discount will be offered on all items for these two days. The shop will then be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays through Dec. 19. Additional hours are available by appointment. McCandless -- Tellabration, a story-telling concert will be held from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Nov. 21 at Northland Public Library, 300 Cumberland Road. Free to public; donations will benefit the library.

Richland -- The Northern Tier Library, 4015 Dickey Road, will be host to its book discussion group at 10 a.m. next Thursday to talk about "My Grandfather's Blessings" by Rachel N. Remen. Butler -- Lifesteps' Alzheimer's Caregivers Support group will meet from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 17, in the Geriatrics Department of Lifesteps' Butler Center at 383 New Castle Road. Lifesteps' Alzheimer's Caregiver Support group is a free community service that meets monthly to assist families as they handle the challenges of caring for a loved on with Alzheimer's.
