Kurt Angle's assault charge dismissed
Tuesday, November 10, 2009

Charges of assault and harassment against pro wrestler Kurt Angle were dismissed today in connection with a domestic dispute with his former girlfriend.

District Judge Mary Murray of Coraopolis dismissed the charges after a preliminary hearing this afternoon.

Mr. Angle was charged after a confrontation Aug. 15 with Trenesha Biggers at his Moon home.

He was arrested in a parking lot in Robinson outside a supermarket where Ms. Biggers told police she fled after the alleged assault.

Yesterday, Ms. Biggers withdrew her request for protection from abuse order against Mr. Angle, and a judge ordered them to have no contact with each other.
